Nice, melodic flute based joint from DJ Rupture off his Uproot mix cd. Buy it here: Uproot. DJ Rupture is one of the freshest deejays out and if you don't know about him you should do your homework. He is one of those next level type deejays who makes music for advanced listeners and cultured/worldly music lovers. He is part ethnomusicologist, part record/sound collector, part producer, part deejay, part radio host, part historian, part political activist, part experimental musician and part street preacher. I don't care who your favorite deejay is, he/she is not that diversely talented. Mad respect to DJ Rupture for being a role model of what a deejay should aspire to be in an age where most only aspire to buy serato, download free music, turn the volume to 10 and party. Soon your 12 year old son will be able to do that so go get yourself some solid musical knowledge/substance in addition to being able to scratch a record. Know the roots and the branches of music because the leaves end up dying much quicker.
