Tom Dissevelt & Kid Baltan - Song of the 2nd Moon

One of the earliest uses of an instrument called the moog sympathizer. It is a truly innovative recording from 1957. Lightyears ahead of its time, as well as ahead of Kraftwerk and Bruce Haack. This no doubt had profound effects on both of those artists just mentioned along with many more. To hear this when there was no such thing as electronic music must have been quite a mind/ear bending experience. Dick Raaymakers aka Kid Baltan is a Dutch composer, theater maker and music theorist. In the 50s, he and Tom Dissevelt, under the name Electrosoniks produced works of popular music by electronic means (which turned out to be the first attempts of their kind in the world). Also, I am pretty sure this track is what the Gilligan's Island theme is based off of.
